Ghassan Saab holds a degree in civil engineering from the American University of Beirut.  He is a native of Lebanon and a naturalized U. S. citizen.

Ghassan has directed projects throughout the United States, Saudi Arabia and Egypt. His companies areHe joined Sorensen Gross Construction Co., a general contracting firm based in Flint, Michigan in 1966. He became owner and president in 1971.  In 1996 he became CEO specializing in strategic planning and oversight of specific projects and client relationships. He is President of SGT, Ltd. I, a real estate development firm and Treasurer of Sorensen Gross, Inc., a general contractor in North Carolina and a member of SG Construction Services LLC.  

In 1987, Ghassan co-founded The Torrey Group of Atlanta, Georgia to offer smoother land acquisition, development, residential home building, sales and services. It streamlined these operations and its home building arm, Torrey Homes, was named Georgia's leading home builder in 1994. The company was sold in 1997.

Mr. Saab serves on the boards of McLaren Regional Medical Center, the Hundred Club of Flint, University of Michigan Citizens Advisory Committee, Lebanese American University, and is chairman of the American Druze Foundation. He is past chairman of the Associated General Contractors of America, Flint Institute of Music, Junior Achievement and a member of numerous service organizations.  His many awards include the Daughters of the American Revolution Americanism Medal and Civic Leader of the Year Award by the American Syrian-Lebanese Clubs of America.
