In 1988, Ben and his partners embarked on a venture into the hotel business. Ben supervised the brand selection, facility design, Furniture Fixture & Equipment purchase and installation and the staffing of a 168-room Holiday Inn Holidome and Conference Centre in Flint. Ben would also serve as the General Manager of the property for 3 years. Through his accomplishments as General Manager, in 1991 he was honored to accept the “Torch Bearer Award” which is awarded each year to the top 25 Holiday Inn Hotels worldwide.
Ben recognized the opportunity for growth in Southwest Florida and relocated his family there in 1995 however, retaining many of his holdings in Michigan. He has brought his award winning career experiences full swing to the design and construction of luxury homes in Pelican Marsh and Wildcat Run. Currently, Ben is managing residential and commercial real estate development ventures involving lucrative partnerships for high-end properties in both Charlotte and Lee counties.
